Bollywood Bitesized
For fans of Bollywood films, but mainly for those who have yet to experience them, Bollywood Bitesized invite you to join them for a complete Bollywood experience.
On 4th February 2012 their epic, 1950’s Bollywood-inspired dinner/dance fusing classic Bollywood cinema with cocktails, live entertainment, and a collection of authentic Indian street vendors is coming to Shoreditch.
You’ll arrive dressed for Bollywood: long golden sherwani, jewel-encrusted turban, razor-sharp sword in hand.
Descending from your newly-acquired elephant (to the shame of those attendees who have merely complimented their regular attire with a Bindi), you’ll gracefully move inside – grabbing a Mango Mahraj or three en route.
Enveloped by the sights and sounds of India, the film begins: Aan (1952), the first Bollywood film to be made in Technicolor. Regular intervals will allow you to pick up more Mango Mahrajs, several Lychee Martinis and dinner from a food truck of your choosing – all while enjoying performances from some of the best Bollywood dancers in the UK.
After the film DJ Shai Hussain from the Bombay Funkadelic crew will continue the evening’s entertainment with his unique mix of retro Bollywood, funk and soul.
Bollywood Bitesized: just like watching a Bollywood film.
Only better.
