MyndPlay
Although the Nudge is known by literally millions of people around the world for its hilarious tendency to exaggerate, today’s fact requires no embellishment at all.
Your talent for mind control - subversively bending the will of others to your own - is unparalleled.
We’ve seen you in action: subliminally influencing colleagues to do your work and fetch your lunch, and using only the power of your mind (plus a little of that “determined puppy dog” eye contact thing you do) to sometimes get served quickly in bars.
Still, everyone’s natural abilities have their limit.
Sadly for you, manipulating the outcome of films with the power of your mind alone has proved to be a bit of a sticking point.
Until now.
MyndPlay, a London-based company run by feisty ex-Apprentice contestant Tre Azam, has created a media player in collaboration with Neurosky (leaders in the “no hands” gaming field) that measures your level of relaxation and focus while watching films, and then changes the narrative to fit your mood.
Though the number of short films available today are predictably limited, a variety of additional apps are also available. They include ‘Jurassic Golf’; a challenge to open a can of Red Bull with your mind, and some meditation software designed to help you relax.
Hey, whatever helps you sleep at night.
Note: MyndPlay headset: £99.00, or £129.00 with the “BrainBand”. Player software and app platform are a free download for Mac or Windows.
