Boxpark - One of the Quirkiest Pop Up Shops in London

Limiting the amount of time that someone has to make a decision is – they say - the most effective method of encouraging them to make a highly irrational one.

Like buying a time-sensitive “nose tip enhancement” deal on Groupon.  

Or having a child.

Some time-sensitive opportunities are, however, worth experiencing. Particularly those that are genuinely unique and, in contrast to the examples given above, very unlikely to leave you irreparably scarred for life.

One such opportunity is Boxpark, “the world’s first pop up mall” - a collection of fashion, lifestyle and arts brands housed within 60 shipping containers – launching in Shoreditch this Saturday.

Unique not only for being a pop up mall (In London, a pop up shop) it’s also looking likely to stretch the term “pop-up shop” to breaking point – given the rumours that it may be around for years rather than weeks.  

That said, Saturday’s launch day does represent a time-sensitive opportunity: the Boxpark website currently contains a downloadable voucher offering 20% off brands that include Art Against Knives, Cyber Candy, Dockers, Lacoste, Levi’s, Nike, Northface, Urbanears and Van.

Everything will get going at 1pm, and – in addition to the shopping - the afternoon promises to include live DJ sets, in-store events and giveaways.
