Top Restaurants In London
The Nudge’s Guide to the Top Restaurants in London.
Claiming to have a list of the top restaurants in London is at best questionable and, at the very worst, fraudulent.
What makes a restaurant great is down to personal choice, and will always vary depending on exactly what you might be looking for.
That said, we actually do have a list of the top restaurants in London - it's right here.
And so – while we’d encourage you to believe that this is simply a list of our favourite restaurants – it's actually, all things considered, a list of the best ones. Not the most expensive ones, not the quirkiest ones and not necessarily the most critically-acclaimed ones: just the restaurants that, if you haven't already, you really ought to try.
Mishkin’s A "kind of Jewish Deli with Cocktails": think cocktails from the '40s, latkes and knish and melted cheese / pastrami sandwiches on toasted rye.
Ducksoup A relaxed ambience and a small European-inspired menu (which changes daily)
Pollen St Social The realisation of Jason Atherton’s “design your own dining” dream.
Hawksmoor The best steak in London.
Spuntino Industrial-style space with a long bar where diners can enjoy downtown Manhattan-inspired Italian sharing plates surrounded by walls stripped back to reveal faded white tiles and mosaics.
Please note that we’re fickle, so this list of the top London restaurants will doubtlessly change: do check back.
