Win 4 VIP Tickets to Wide Awake 2025

Wide Awake Festival | A Festival From Bad Vibrations, LNZRT and MOTH Club

Look alive people, Wide Awake Festival is back for 2025.

And it’s back with a big, Indie music bang, bringing a line-up of big hitters to Brockwell Park for the late May Bank Holiday weekend. Already confirmed is Peaches, Kneecap, CMAT, English Teacher and a whole horde more. It really is THE place to jump start the summer festival season and what better way to experience a jam-packed day of music than with four VIP tickets that we have up for grabs for one (soon to be very popular) Nudge reader

Oh, and we’re also throwing in annual Nudge memberships all round, so you can spend the rest of the year enjoying London’s headline acts…

The whole thing is an independent setup founded by Bad Vibrations, LNZRT and the creators behind some of London’s most iconic, small music venues: MOTH Club and The Shacklewell Arms. It’s taking place in Brockwell Park (a stone’s throw from Brixton and plenty of transport links) just as spring rolls into summer on the 23rd May. While there’s a lot of attention that goes into curating the musical line-up, the festival also happens to really care about the environment and the community too. They put their money where their mouth is, supporting local projects and grass roots artists through charitable donations.

On the day itself, the stages will be graced by 40+ acts ranging from headliners; the Irish language hip-hop trio Kneecap, singer, songwriter and self-proclaimed ‘fearer of bugs’ CMAT and Mercury Prize winners English Teacher; as well as Daniel Avery; Nadine Shah; Frankie & The Witch Fingers among a whole roster of others. And playing fair, you’ll find there’s pretty much an even 50/50 gender split. Supporting them all you’ll find a huge spread of various street food vendors, well-stocked bars, and a far-from-shabby VIP area.

Just to bring you back briefly to the whole ‘environment’ thing – being keenly aware of the effect a massive event like this can have, the festival takes a strong stance on sustainability and promises to leave no trace of litter behind and bans single-use plastic on the day. The team also recycles all waste from the traders, with the aim of doubling its recycling rate year on year. Add to that their community fund and commitment to hiring only local businesses too…

… it’s a festival that’ll open your eyes.
