Little Pitt

Little Pitt | Soho Restaurant

NOTESadly, Little Pitt has now closed until further notice. Which makes the triumphant tone of this archived article a little bathetic. But we used the word bathetic, so that’s ok.

It’s back, baby.

Or more accurately, baby back ribs are back, baby.

Yes, the pit in our lives that was left with the departure of Pitt Cue Soho – to make room for their excellent, but nevertheless pulled-pork-less City based follow-up – has finally been filled with the arrival of Little Pitt.

They’ve retaken the exact same, cubby-hole space off Carnaby Street, given it a fresh lick of green paint and then filled it with wooden flooring /a wooden bar /wooden everything else PLUS and a farmyard’s worth of meat.

In the hopes of avoiding the eye-popping waiting times that essentially subsidised the next door pub, they’ve created a far more pared down version, serving just buns to eat in or take away. The menu changes daily, and you’ll find things like pulled pork (yay!), smoked beef, and chicken wedged between buns infused with flavours like sausage or chicken & anchovy.

To repeat, sausage buns.

Throw in a few sides like green slaw chill and grilled hispi & herbs, as well as extras including caramel ribs, pickled shiitakes, and kimchi, and you can say goodbye the the little pit in your stomach.

And to wash it all down, just head to the bar for craft beers (like Piston head, Harbour Brewing, Buxton Brewery and house numbers from the Pitt Cue City brewery) and bourbon picklebacks.

Yep, they’re (pickle)back too.

NOTE: Little Pitt is now closed.
