Tiki Bordel | Shoreditch Popup
By Jade Ross
Sorry, this pop up has now closed.
There’s only one place to be this glorious British summer…
…and it’s inside.
Sheltering from the rain.
Or better still, underground, in Shoreditch basement bar Joyeux Bordel, which for two months only has been experimentally transformed by the Experimental Cocktail Club into the rum-filled tropical paradise that is Tiki Bordel.
Now you’ll be thrilled to learn that the desert island conversion here doesn’t stop at the décor – which features palm mat flooring, floral wallpaper, surf kit, and banana trees – but extends to the barkeeps as well, who include a series of special guests – including mixologist Papa Jules of Cliff Restaurant Barbados – that are dishing out an eclectic range of rum cocktails throughout the duration… including a homemade, ginger syrup-laden Dark & Stormy.
Perfect for the weather outside.
NOTE: Sorry, Tiki Bordel has now closed.
