What do you get when you cross an arcade, a micro-brewery and karaoke?
Yep, reeeeally drunk.
Built in what looks like a derelict Victorian building in Battersea, Four Thieves is split over three levels: a pub and micro brewery on the ground floor, an arcade on the upper level and a private karaoke room (with its own stage) in the basement. The pub (where you can eat, though it won’t be the gastronomic delight of your year) features a touch of taxidermy, and a whole lot of booze (which you’ll be needing) including 8 house-brewed beers and a 70+ strong gin selection.
Upstairs you’ll find the games room….
…a gluttony of entertainment consisting of “The Moonshine Raceway” (basically life size remote control car racing), old-school dance mats, a bunch of retro arcade games, skee ball, air hockey, aaaaand the world’s first in-pub virtual reality booth, inside which you can fire arrows off a castle wall, fly…. or shoot aliens.
Add to this an equally riotous programme of live music, bottomless brunch, pub quizzes, drag queens, burlesque and bingo with a presenter who is 80% quiff…
…and it’s a pretty hair-raising experience.
NOTE: Four Thieves is open daily from noon. You can find out more, and book, HERE.
