Apart from having unaffordable houses, Beyoncé and Chiswick seem to have very little in common.
But that’s starting to change, because thanks to the arrival of Lil’ Nashville, they’re now both into country music.
This new honky-tonk hangout is now open in the former Betty Chiswick pub, just down the high street from the flower market, the High Road Brasserie, and the new JKS gastro, The Hound. It’s the first permanent venue from a trio of Nashville-obsessed Londoners — Helen, Rob, and Jeremy — who’ve spent the past few years building up a cult following with their roving country nights of live music, Southern BBQ, and general boot-stomping mayhem.

Now they’ve settled down with their own full-time home, and they’ve gone full country. Think live bands, neon signs, line dancing, and the kind of drinks list that probably has its own Willie Nelson song. The food is exactly what you’d want: baby back ribs, pulled pork, slaw, maybe an American-style biscuit or two if you’re lucky.
And yes, there’s whiskey. And probably lemonade. Because if Beyoncé gets one, so does Chiswick.
