Yosma have shaken things up…
…by adding a new cocktail bar.
Being London’s preeminent Turkish restaurant, the space itself is a characteristically seamless blend of both Middle Eastern elegance and Western cool, with patterned tiles commingling with glazed brickwork behind a long marble bar. The whole look & feel is inspired by classic Turkish cinema, and the walls also boast an eclectic selection of specially commissioned artwork from Turkish artists & graphic designers.
On the new bar menu, you’ll find a healthy selection of cocktails including classics (Negronis, Bellinis, etc.), twists on classics (their Turkish Coffee Martini has, well, Turkish coffee in it), and straight-up originals (their signiature Yosma Sour packs in pisco, raki, pineapple, lime, and egg white).
Joining that, they’ve got both Turkish and non-Turkish wines, a lineup of traditional Turkish spirit raki, and they’ve even gone to the trouble of getting their own bespoke beer brewed exclusively for them – it’s an IPA blended specifically to have a smooth, light flavour.
And finally, there’s a short-but-sweet bar menu of snacks to provide a little ballast for all of that booze, including barrel-aged feta with olive oil, house-pickled cauliflower, cod & sumac köftes, and chicken wings with pomegranate & pistachio.
They’ll be flying off the grill.
