Big Screen On The Green | Wimbledon Screenings 2019
The Big Screen on the Green is back.
And this year, there’ll be quite a lot of green on the screen, too.
That’s because they’ll be screening the Wimbledon finals this month as part of a huge weekend festival. If you’re looking for an outdoor tennis screening that’s a little more luxurious than your usual, this is where to head. You’ll arrive at the green in question (a beautiful English garden set within the 500 year old Fulham Palace), take a stroll down the red carpet, and find your seats – either on a picnic blanket, a premium Director’s Chair, or in your own very premium private pod – and settle in for the day.
There’ll be cocktail bars, food stalls, strawberries and cream and a Champagne lounge to keep you fed and watered throughout the day, as well as DJs and live music to keep things peppy as the game goes into the fifth set.
Essentially, it’s your perfect match.
