London Mezcal Week 2019 | Cactus cocktails in TT Liquor
Mezcal isn’t known for being weak.
But this summer, we’re getting a week that’s going to be very mezcal.
It’s the return of London Mezcal Week, back for its third year, and it’ll be hosted exclusively at bar & cocktail emporium TT Liquor in Shoreditch, running from Monday 15th to Sunday 21st July.
Across the week, there’ll be a bunch of events taking place at TT Liquor, including the likes of guided tastings in their Cellar Bar; rolling masterclasses in the workshop upstairs; and a cocktail-paired Mexican feast with a screening of Y Tu Mama Tambien in the cinema room courtesy of Kino Vino.
But the best is being saved for last.
You see, it’ll all culminate in a great big, two-day spectacular tasting festival on Friday 19th and Saturday 20th. For a £35 ticket, you’l be able to access over 50 brands of the smokey stuff – featuring everything from traditional mezcals, to your sotols and Baconoras – and you’ll get six hours of guided tastings to try them in. Add in a few seminars from industry experts, plus cocktails and Mexican small plates…
It’s worth a shot.
