London Cocktail Week 2016 | Peroni Nastro Azzurro (Partner Content)
You should never mix your drinks.
Particularly during London Cocktail Week, when hundreds of the city’s finest bartenders are ready, willing and able to do it for you.
You can read all about here, but the summary is that by simply purchasing a £10 Festival Pass you’ll have access to not only a week of special drinks and pricing (including £5 cocktails at many of London’s finest, award-winning drinkeries) plus parties, masterclasses and cocktail tours, but also an invitation to visit a multi-story, immersive town house run by World Class bartenders and the opportunity to take a jaunt around a gigantic east London Cocktail Village filled with over forty bespoke pop up bars… like, for example, Amare L’Italia by Peroni Nastro Azzurro.
Now let’s first take a second to acknowledge the chutzpah required for a beer brand to even consider turning up at London Cocktail Week. [One Second]. And now let’s quickly acknowledge that they’ve most certainly earned their place here, having taken seven of London’s finest Italian bartenders (who have shaken and stirred through a variety of stints at venerable institutions like The Chiltern Firehouse, 45 Park Lane, and Aqua Shard) on a voyage around Venice and Bologna, during which each was sufficiently inspired by both their heritage and surroundings to create a bespoke Italian cocktail infusion.
You can see a video of their trip to Venice right here, and if you’d like to try any of the cocktail infusions created during it (alongside a little traditional aperitivo), then simply head along to the Cocktail Village and seek out Peroni’s white bar featuring an ivy-laced pergola and dangling flowers.
It’s a good place to hang out.
