Monkey Shoulder Social Club

Monkey Shoulder Social Club, Monkey Shoulder Party | Partner Content

At the end of a gritty, dimly-lit, East London backstreet is an old metal door.

Directly behind it lie a cornucopia of rooms oozing retro charm which – on Thursday 6th December 2012 – will play host to The Monkey Shoulder Social Club, a flipped-out take on the stereotypically stuffy, old boys’ whisky club.

Drink in hand you’ll head to the Games Room for a spin on Thomas Heatherwick’s Spun Chairs, followed by unparalleled fun and debauchery courtesy of the crazies behind “the black sheep of the bingo family”, Rebel Bingo.

Drinking Monkey Shoulder neat, on the rocks or in cocktails assembled by some of London’s leading bartenders, you’ll be free to dine on gourmet street food, stir things up in a cocktail boot camp – where you’ll learn how to create your own concoctions – or just relax in the old movie room…

Triple malt in hand, obviously.

With DJs, merriment and cocktails on tap (metaphorically speaking) it’s going to be a special night, transforming the once-exclusive world of the whisky club into a scotch-sodden fun house where everything, and anyone, goes…

Except your Dad.

NOTE: Spaces are limited. Tickets can be won via www.MonkeyShoulderSocialClub.com. Entry for application closes 28th November. Winners will be notified 29th November.
