Night Tales

Night Tales | Hackney Wick

And then there was Night Tales – Genesis 1:3.

Thank God you now know.

Because the people behind the award-winning popup – who’ve previously hosted 25,000 sq ft reincarnations of the back streets of Japan, and treehouse-laden jungles with sun drenched terraces – are currently busy converting a huge stone merchants and car scrap yard in the heart of Hackney Wick into a grown-up version of their original popup, Night Tales.

And this time around? It comes complete with a massive sun terrace, alongside which you can expect:

NEW FOOD – They’re converting the scrap yard’s old garages into stalls for the throng of Night Tales regulars, along with newcomers like Rudie’s (jerk pulled pork burgers); Slice Guys (New York-style pizza with toppings like truffle-infused mozzarella); The Good Egg (serving London’s only pastrami-cured short-ribs); Nanny Bill’s (a “British diner” with slow-cooked beef & ale croquettes); and many, many more.

NEW BARS – You can take a jaunt over to Coco’s Rum Shack, where they’ll lop the top off a coconut and liberally spike it with everything else that a decent cocktail requires. Plus a straw. And if that doesn’t take your fancy, then their new Thai beer bar (hosted by Singha Beer); their tropical-cocktail-filled Lazy Flamingo bar; or their ENTER.Sake bar (with more than a dozen types of rice wine) probably will.

NEW MUSIC – The all-new DJ lineup will kick off with Eddie Richards over the opening weekend, and feature spinners like Rudimental, Groove Armada, Norman J, Maribou State, and more. And there’s a dance floor for all of it.

NEW… PRIVATE DINING – Yes, this particular Night Tales has even more bookable areas. Reserve one, and get comp entry & a glass of Prosecco waiting for you and anywhere between 10-100 friends, in your very own exclusive area, for private food, drink, and dancing.

In fact, the only thing that there won’t be…

…is an Exodus.
