New Year’s Eve 2016 | Your Agenda
This New Year’s Eve, let’s all resolve to be more optimistic.
Let’s throw caution to the wind. Let’s trust our instincts. Let’s see the good in everyone. Let’s hope for the best. Let’s rise up and forever keep our cups and glasses half-full.
Mainly with gin.
But first, let’s make a plan for where we’re going to be when 2016 begins by referring to our expertly-curated New Year’s Eve Agenda. Highlights include an Egyptian Disco with pharaohs, sarcophagi, sphinxes and scarab beetles; a Thames cruiser filled with DJs, bars and the best views of the biggest firework display in Europe; seven straight hours of Jazz from Kansas Smitty’s and the Ritz’s house bands in an underground drinking den overflowing with mint juleps; an all-white dress code at Sushisamba’s Réveillon featuring Brazilian dancers, live music by The Rockets and DJs spinning through the night under their giant orange rooftop tree; and Disappearing Dining Club’s Dinner Dance inside London’s only remaining lighthouse.
But there’s more.
Like a Cluedo murder mystery party; live music, tapas, cocktails, mulled wine and ice skating at Somerset House; the Southbank Centre’s annual Vintage New Year’s Eve party, where all five floors will be converted into separate, era-specific and set-dressed nightclubs; cocktails and canapés in a winter wonderland located at the top of the Gherkin; a Midnight Fairytale Ball in an old East London church and a 1920s Prohibition party inside a secret Central London speakeasy featuring jazz bands, Charlestown dancers, silent movie screenings, gambling tables and a sing-along piano bar.
Should be fairly low key.
NOTE: This is but a snippet of your complete New Year’s Eve Agenda 2016.
