Everyone loves a friendship with benefits.
Especially when it’s literally a ship, with Benefit Cosmetics – who are teaming up with Experience Cinema (that’s the folk behind outdoor cinema favourite, the Rooftop Film Club), to bring you three nights of classic film screenings against the cinematic backdrop of the Southbank sunset. ON A BOAT.
Parked a nifty two minutes from Embankment tube, it’s essentially the swanky experience we’ve come to expect from Rooftop – fancy popcorn, cosy blankets, actually comfortable seating – but they’ve really, ahem, pushed the boat out on this one, because your ticket will not only ensure your spot in front of an iconic flick (When Harry Met Sally, Romeo + Juliet, Titanic, etc.) but also:
1) A complimentary glass of Pimm’s on your arrival, served by what we are assured are only the most swashbuckling of bartenders.
2) Access to the Hoola deck bar, featuring exclusive cocktails from the bar team at Mahiki; aaand-
3) A food menu featuring plates as classic as the films on show. We’re talking fish and chips, steak sandwiches, plus charcuterie and antipasti sharers…
…just in case you need a little ballast.

NOTE: HMS Film Club on The Good Ship Benefit is running from Wednesday 10th August – Friday 12th August. Tickets cost £25 and include a complimentary glass of Pimm’s and Tyrell’s Poshcorn.
