Study your family tree with sufficient vigour, and you may find evidence that some of your forebearers were – in their younger days – fortunate enough to spend the 1930s attending elegant post-prohibition soirées inside beautiful London townhouses to which the general public had no access.

However as they probably weren’t, allow us to present you with an opportunity to right history’s wrongs by attending The Tanqueray Drawing Rooms, a 1930s-style cocktail party located inside a Georgian townhouse… to which the general public has no access.

In addition to enjoying classic and signature cocktail creations served up by UK Bartenders of the Year James Fowler and Gareth Evans, you can also expect to uncover secret rooms within the townhouse; receive personalised illustrations courtesy of graphic guru Sophie Barton; attend a ‘male styling session’ (useful both to unkempt men, and to anyone who knows one); and learn how to make vintage headpieces.

We’re calling that last bit, “Who Wants To Be A Milliner”.

NOTE: The Tanqueray Drawing Rooms are part of #TanquerayThursdays. It’s open 13th and 14th November 2014. You can find out more HERE.
