#TanquerayThursdays Dinner Dance
You can’t make an omelette without breaking a few eggs.
And we can’t host a beautiful candlelit dinner in a warehouse followed by a live music-fuelled bacchanalia in a subterranean, oriental drinking den without inviting you.
So, you’re invited.
However before accepting, please consider the following:
It’s a celebration of #TanquerayThursdays. Which is itself a celebration of World Gin Day. Making this “A Celebration Of A Celebration”. And you know how fun those are.
That candlelit warehouse. It’s next to London Bridge, and inside it you’ll be treated to a welcome Tanqueray cocktail; a three course feast cooked by the inimitable Disappearing Dining Club (who’ll be serving up shareable potted salt beef, salmon and mushrooms in truffle oil; roast sirloin with crispy potato skins and lobster bearnaise; a ‘surprise’ mid-course gin cocktail; and DDC Eton Mess); plus music from the funkiest musical duo in town. You’ll like them a lot.
And then it’ll be time to head downstairs into that oriental drinking den we just mentioned, where you’ll enjoy two-for one #TanquerayThursdays cocktails for the remainder of the night while being entertained by The Correspondents – a band whose gigs this month include Lovebox, The Secret Garden Party… and playing for you in an underground Chinese bunker.
You can accept now.
NOTE: The #TanquerayThursdays Dinner Dance is happening on Thursday 24th July 2014. Tickets – which cost £42 and include a welcome cocktail; a three-course candlelit dinner by DDC (including a mid-course ‘surprise’ cocktail); entry to the private post-dinner party downstairs, incl 2-for-1 Tanqueray cocktails; and music from two amazing bands – are now on sale HERE.
