The Boogaloo Boil | The Blues Kitchen Shoreditch
By Parveen Downer
Traditionally, they take a few years to establish.
But the people at The Blues Kitchen Shoreditch never were ones to follow the rules, so theirs are relatively new. And very, very welcome. Because one of them is the Boogaloo Boil; an all-you-can-eat crawfish feast taking place this August Bank Holiday, at which – if you snap up a ticket – you’ll get:
1) Infinite crawfish, boiled up Louisiana style.
2) All the regular fixings, including sweet cornbread, fiery okra, smoked andouille sausage, and buttery red potatoes.
3) A glass of complimentary Bulleit Bourbon punch.
4) Live music until 2.30am, featuring bands like Old Dirty Brasstards and the Atlantic Soul Orchestra.
And to top it all off, waiting staff will be on hand to help you properly peel & devour the suckers (“pinch the tail, and suck the head”)…
…as is tradition.
NOTE: The Boogaloo Boil takes place on Sunday August 28th. Tickets are priced at £35, and you can get them right HERE.
