The Twisted Circus | Halloween Party
Given how scary clowns have recently become, manufacturers of clown shoes are now allegedly under pressure to make an additional two million pairs in advance of Halloween.
No small feat.
And neither is bringing a Big Top into a decadent rooftop bar – but The Twisted Circus will be doing just that when it arrives at the Rumpus Room cocktail lounge at the top of Mondrian London this weekend, refitting the usually luxuriant, panoramic space overlooking the Thames with a spooky circus theme.
You’ll get a welcome glass of champagne on arrival, there’ll be an array of themed cocktails to sip on, a lineup of performers and acts that promise to range “from the gruesome to the downright scandalous”, and you can throw a couple of shapes on the dancefloor (which may well also range from the gruesome to the scandalous) with their DJ Henry Relph.
And the cherry on the Big Top? There’s a stage make up artist on hand to give you a ghoulish makeover so impressive, you might not even recognise who you came with.
But don’t worry.
There’s always facespook.
