Behold Tokyo Nights, a 25,000 sq ft pop up recreation of the illicit back streets of Tokyo featuring five bars, eight private Ryokans (Japanese houses), six street food partners and one dance floor.
Brought to you by the team behind Night Tales (who recently returned from a holiday research trip to Japan) Tokyo Nights – which takes its inspiration from Tokyo’s best restaurants, cocktail bars, markets and hotels – is filled with neon signs, bauble city lights, suspended birdcages, rusty balconies, buzzing extractor fans, cherry blossom trees, vintage AC units, bamboo cladding and wisteria windows.
Head along on any Thursday, Friday or Saturday night between now and 19th December, and….
You’ll Get Food from an enviable collection of street food traders, and a rotating selection of guest chef residencies within them. Making an appearance are Patty & Bun; Nanny Bill’s (with their teppanyaki short rib beef buns); Dorshi’s hand made dumplings; Walter & Monty’s; and, making their Street Food debut, Bubbledogs’ hot dogs.
You’ll Get Drinks. Perhaps from one of the five separate bars. Or perhaps from all of them. They include The Golden Gai Japanese Cocktail Bar; the first floor Sake Bar; the main bar (for any and all of your beer and wine-related requirements); the Love Hotel Bar; and the secret Whisky Bar (which, as of this very moment, only you know about).

NOTE: Tokyo Nights runs every Thursday – Saturday from 29th October – 19th December 2015. General entry is free before 7pm and £3 thereafter on Thursdays, and £5 on Fridays and Saturdays.
