Some people like rowing.
What ever floats your boat.
And some people like rowing so much they dedicated a festival to it, bringing on bands perched atop a floating stage, with chefs, bars, comedy, and more.
This year Michelin starred chef Angela Hartnett will be headlining, cooking up dishes such as parmesan and truffle panna cotta; slow-cooked feather blade of beef, marinated in Chianti and cooked with baby onions and pancetta and pistachio and olive oil cake.
She’ll be joined by various foodie pop-ups including the likes of Jimmy Garcia, Snob Lobster, BBQ Club, Cooking Cooks, as well as chef Paul Clerehugh. And to help wash it all down, you can sip on a glass of champagne from the Moët Champagne Bar; espresso martinis from Back Cab Coffee & Cocktails and PIMMS from their very own pop-up (amongst many others).
While you indulge in some of the fine food and drinks on offer, you’ll also be able to enjoy this year’s music headliners: Rita Ora, Grace Jones, Nile Rogers & CHIC, Curtis Stigers and The Ronnie Scott’s Big Band present ‘Sinatra At The Sands’, and the English National Opera. Plus, if you’re looking for something a little light-hearted, the comedy line-up includes Paul Merton, Mark Watson, Lee Nelson and Lucy Porter.
