Deep Fried Creme Egg Sundaes | Um, Yes Please
Mac & Wild have done a lot to banish the cliche of Scottish cuisine being predominantly composed of deep fried chocolate bars…
…by deep frying creme eggs instead.
Yes, this Easter, they’re serving up deep-fried Cadbury’s Creme Egg Sundaes. Head to either of their restaurants (in Fitzrovia and Liverpool Street) between 26th March & 2nd April, and they’ll unleash a tactical nuclear strike on your tastebuds/cholesterol for dessert, to follow on from your bottomless brunch.
Just, on that last point… they’re also serving a bottomless brunch for the Easter Week. That’s right, washing down their Scottish Breakfasts (which come with home-cured bacon, tattie scones, white and black pudding, bone marrow beans, etc.) or your classic Veni-Moo burger, you can get infinite brunch cocktails. They’ve got the Bloody Scotsman (it has whisky), the Bloody Botanist (it has gin), and the Bloody Mary (it has vodka), among others.
Perfect, to toast to your health.
NOTE: Mac & Wild will be serving their Creme Egg Sundaes from Monday 26th March to Monday 2nd April at both their locations and their bottomless Brunch at Devonshire Square on Good Friday and Easter Saturday, and Easter Saturday and Easter Day at Fitzrovia. You can find out more, and book a table right HERE.
