The opening words of One Man Musical by Flo & Joan are, “Is this show a legal minefield? Yes it is.” And while our lawyers have advised us to redact the rest of this article, we can boldly say that it’s a musical about ambition, ego, and the consequences of doing something just because someone said you couldn’t.
And Andrew Lloyd Weber.
He is the main character, you see. He is the ‘one man’ in this one man show. And here, he’s brilliantly played/parodied by George Fouracres, while being backed up by a musical duo known as Flo & Joan. They provide the soundtrack, he provides the narrative. And what we end up with is a witty, surreal hour of sharp-edged comedy and music that ever-so-slightly eviscerates the living shit out of ol’ Andy.

It now has fans from The Stage, The Guardian, Rolling Stone, and more. Now it’s transferring to the Underbelly Boulevard for a six-week run in their Soho theatre starting in mid-January.
And sure, you’re probably wondering how could they possibly find humour in the world of a man with such an insanely large ego? Well, somehow they do. It’s a simple show, not too long, and the whole thing is directed by Georgie Staight, who comes fresh from having turned Operation Mincemeat into one of the biggest West End success stories since, well..
…Andrew Lloyd Weber.
