Eating pasta by yourself can be cannelloni.
So it comes as welcome news that the fresh pasta gurus at Soho’s Pastaio have created a new sharing pasta.
It’s beef shin cooked low & slow in wine, garlic & bay for six hours, with reginette pasta (like crimped ribbons), and all topped off with a parsley, lemon zest & garlic gremolata …and it’s enough for 2-3 people to share between them.
It’s all served directly to the table in huge cast iron Le Creuset skillets – but there’s a limit to how many they can use at once, so they’re offering it as a special each day on a first-come, first-served basis. It’s the perfect thing to offset with one of their famed Prosecco Slushies, which come in flavours like amaretto sour, or mulled wine.
Just in case you find the pasta a little too warming & comforting…
NOTE: Pastaio’s sharing pasta is available now for £30, and is recommended for 2-3 people. There are no bookings, and the dish is limited on a first-come, first-served basis. You can find out more at their website right HERE.
