Sushi Atelier’s Winter Warmers | Seasonal Menus
If you’re expecting warming, winterey dishes at a sushi restaurant…
…you’re probably going to get a raw deal.
Unless that is, you go to the critically lauded Sushi Atelier which, it turns out, is critically lauded for a reason: they make excellent food, they never rest on their laurels, and they’re not afraid to veer away from uncooked swimmers when the season demands it.
So this winter, they’ve drummed up a concise menu of “Winter Warmer” dishes designed to nourish the soul with rich umami, depth of flavour, and some actual warmth. You can expect:
Duck Tsukune – that is, minced duck with Japanese mushroom sauce
Wagyu Sukiyaki – a Japanese beef hotpot with mushroom and shirataki (yam noodles)
Wagyu Seiro Mushi – some steamed Japanese beef with cabbage and ponzu dipping sauce sauce
They’re available now, until the end of winter. But don’t worry.
You can also get sushi.
NOTE: Sushi Atelier is now open Mon-Sat for lunch and dinner (with a break), and you can reserve on 02076 364455 or via firstname.lastname@example.org. You can also check out their website HERE.
