The rooftop bar on top of Peckham’s Bussey building is back for the summer.
And appropriately, they’ve bussed in quite the line up.
See, ordinarily, they set up shop with Rooftop Film Club in tow, screening classic flicks against the backdrop of the city. But what with the slightly different circumstances 2020 has thrown at us, they’ve hit on something that might be even better. Throughout the summer, they’ll be hosting a series of rooftop comedy gigs, featuring big names including Sara Pascoe, Simon Amstell, Tim Key, Phil Wang and Ed Gamble.

Of course, they’re open just for drinks, too – and you’ll find a wide selection of drinks behind the bar, from pints of draught beer and cider to wine, some seriously affordable fizz, and a couple of classic summer cocktails like negronis, Pimms, and Aperol Spritzes.
There’s also a decent food offering from Share A Slice, a pizza outfit who donate a meal to someone in need for every one they sell. So all the better if you can’t pick between the spicy ‘Nduja and tenderstem broccoli; double chorizo with fresh basil or the white-base pizza with vegan mozzarella and pesto.
NOTE: Bussey Rooftop Bar is open daily (Mon-Wed 5-10.30pm, and Thurs-Sun 12-10.30pm). They take walk-ins, but you can also book a table, or get tickets for the comedy gigs, right HERE.
