Fulham Beach

Check out this son of a beach.

Neverland has taken over a patch of previously unloved industrial land right by the river, dusted it with sand, and converted it into a little slice of Fulham riviera (albeit one that – just to manage expectations – has a lot of buses going past).

This year, as is customary, they’re taking everything up a notch, meaning not only can you relax in your own private cabana, beach hut, or daybed on a secluded beach with 65ft of sand on the banks of the Thames, but you can also indulge in…

FOOD & DRINK

Fulham Beach’s bar continues the tropical theme, with frozen strawberry daiquiris, classic cocktails, sharing punches, wines and beers on the menu (with bottomless rosé sessions on Saturday afternoons). It also sports a wood-fired oven headed up by the Pizza Shed, or you can grab some classic bar food, from sliders to nachos, sharing platters and fries. They’re also serving bottomless beach brunches every Sunday, where you’ll get pizza, DJs, and endless Prosecco, fruity ciders & frozen cocktails.

ENTERTAINMENT

Those DJs don’t just do brunches. They also help chill out the mood during the day, then amp it up for their beachside parties at night. Added to that, there’s weekly yoga every Saturday, and outdoor cinema screenings every Tuesday night, including The Beach (duh), Top Gun and Dirty Dancing.

ACTIVITIES

Fulham Beach Neverland

No beach would be complete without a game or two, so they’ve added a game or two. Or three, in fact. They include shuffleboard, minigolf, and naturally, both beer & regular (ping) pong.

And the best bit? Everything has been weatherproofed.

Just in case.

NOTE: Fulham Beach is now closed, but it’ll reopen in its winter incarnation on 7th November. Find out more here
