Why? Because like its city-dwelling sibling Bounce Farringdon this place is a vast palace of fun, dedicated to ping pong, cocktails and good times. Unlike its sibling, however, Bounce Shoreditch is a graffiti-covered subterranean bunker in East London (one that happens to house a restaurant overlooked by an open plan traditional 25-foot pizza counter; a large cocktail bar; and a dedicated space for private events). There are a whopping seventeen ping pong tables at Bounce Shoreditch (including the actual 2014 World Championship Final table from Tokyo) for you to choose from. A few of those are set aside for walk-ins (though the queue does develop quite rapidly), or you can just book yourself in for up to two hours. Once the game is over, you can stick around and prop yourself up at –
THE BAR
Cocktails run from the Popcorn Old Fashioned to the Lavender Fields Forever, muddling violet-infused gin with lychee juice and lavender syrup – and are all backed up by a robust line of wines, ciders, and craft beers on tap. All of which you can also order in –

The aforementioned pizza oven at Bounce Shoreditch is flash-cooking numbers like their fancy Hawaiian (caramelised pineapple, smoked ham) and Wild Mushroom & Truffle. And if you’re just after a quick stop-gap, there’s loaded nachos or padrón peppers to share…
…Oh, and just to add a few cherries on top, the walls at Bounce Shoreditch are covered in ultraviolet graffiti in order to host wildly luminous parties; bottomless brunches are hosted every Sunday; and they hold regular DJ-led club nights every Saturday.
