Floral by LIMA | Covent Garden Restaurant
It’s impossible to have:
A) Your cake and eat it.
B) Too many Pisco Sours.
C) Too many outposts of Peruvian hotspot, Lima.
D) All of the above.
The answer’s D.
This is partly because if you eat your cake, then you’ll no longer have it. It’s also because it’s very possible to have too many Pisco Sours. But it’s mainly because the delightful Peruvian eatery Lima in Fitzrovia (which, though it may no longer hold it, was nevertheless the first Peruvian restaurant in Europe to win a Michelin star) is excellent, and so the fact that a second outpost can be found in Covent Garden must be firmly embraced and smothered with kisses.
Set inside the airy HQ of what used to be one of London’s leading stained glass manufacturers, Floral by LIMA serves up ambitious, colourful dishes largely made up of mysterious Andean ingredients which – unless you’re familiar with cherimoya and maiz morado – you’ve probably never heard of.

Sounds like a challenge.
NOTE: Floral by LIMA is open daily from noon. You can reserve a table on their website HERE.
