Market Halls Cargo Canary Wharf

Since Giant Robot became obsolete, Canary Wharf’s been in need of another indoor street food market. Stepping up to the plate: Market Halls Cargo Canary Wharf.

Market Halls already runs two other sites in London: the magnificent temple of street food in an old Edwardian arcade that is Market Halls Victoria, and the brand new, refurbished and spine tinglingly stunning Market Halls Oxford Street. Both of them are vibrant, buzzing hangouts… and the new site’s hoping to be all that and more.

You’ll find it in the all-new Cargo, where the Market Halls team has bagged a massive 20,000 sq ft of space surrounded by giant, double-height, floor-to-ceiling windows and a gorgeous wooden trellis roof held aloft by towering iron girders.

Filling all that space are traders spanning from ol’ dependables bussed in from the Victoria branch – including colourful & rich dim sum from BaoziInn; fragrant Mexican from DF Tacos; and fiery Malaysian street food from Gopals. And joining them are some all-new traders, such as Le Bab for powerfully amped up kebabs and Inamo Sukoshi for sushi & fusion street food with influences from across Asia.

There are also, of course, a couple of bars featuring an innovative drinks offering from the likes of Brewdog, Didsbury Gin and Fever-Tree on site to facilitate the washing down of all that street food, and a whole bunch of events including live music every week.

In other words, a hall of a lot of fun…

NOTE: Market Halls Cargo Canary Wharf is open daily. You can find out more at their website right HERE.
