It’s more often than not where the answer lies.
And, in the case of Marylebone-based Sourced Market – said answer comes in three distinct parts:
1) THE SHOP
Its shelves are lined with bean-to-bar chocolate, preserves and honey from London, sustainably caught tinned seafood from the Azores and antipasti from Puglia. Whether packaged up or fresh from their deli counter – filled with British and European cheese and charcuterie – Sourced Market’s shop is all about showcasing the little guy.
2) THE FOOD HALL
It’s also a coffee shop, a bakery, and a juice bar. And it offers up a continuous carousel of guest espressos, a selection of specialty pour-over coffees, as well as fresh grinds from a number of London’s top artisan roasters: Girls Who Grind Coffee; Round Hill Roastry; Origin.
And what better accompaniment to fresh coffee than a pastry, delivered daily from Paul Rhodes in East London, alongside bread from Bread Ahead in Borough Market, and cronuts from Galeta in Hackney Wick.
Detox juices, protein shakes and immune boosting tonics are all also on offer, made fresh to order.
Plus, there’s a daily changing food menu of light (and very British) snacks such as scotch eggs, sausage rolls and pies, as well as slightly larger, seasonal dishes such as salads, soups and stews.
3) THE TAP ROOM
A basement bottle shop filled with a carefully curated selection of craft beers and wine. That, and there are also eight craft beers and eight wines on tap for you to try, pick your favourite and then dispense into refillable litre-sized growlers to take home.
Sounds preeeeetty dangerous.
