Stem | Oxford Street Restaurant
There aren’t many places in London that you can get pigeon and coconut.
And, in fact, until Stem opens there are precisely none.
But Mark Jarvis sees it as his mission to bring that kind of culinary creativity to the city, and if his debut restaurant, Anglo, is anything to go by, then he’s succeeding incredibly well.
His new spot will be a hop and a skip away from Oxford Street (but still set back from the bustle of the shopping district), and will be housed in a remarkably grand looking townhouse. There will be both à la carte and short tasting menus, with typical dishes including smoked eel, celeriac and white chocolate; pigeon, coconut, and salted peanut; and pineapple, olive oil, lime and salt.
Looks like Mr Jarvis is going to make his mark.
NOTE: Stem is set to open on the 1st of May 2018, with 25% off food from 1-6 May, and 25% off food on Sundays until 10 June. We’ll be back with the full scoop when it opens. In the meantime, you can check out their website HERE.
