We’ve all been wondering for a while now what London’s next activity bar’s going to be and finally Bloomsbury Leisure (the folks behind Bloomsbury Bowling) have the answer…

Cricket based competitive socialising’ apparently, or, in other words, Batting Stars. Now this news is pretty smoking hot off the press, so exact details are limited, although what we do know is that it will all be based around some seriously cool, ultra-modern bowling machines, that can be adjusted depending on your batting abilities. You can also programme them to pitch baseballs so trying your hand at a little b-ball will also be an option.

Of course, if Bloomsbury Bowling’s anything to go by, you can expect a bar and a casual pizza or burger-slinging restaurant too. Plus it’s set to open right in the middle of the city – in the new 100 Bishopsgate development by Liverpool Street Station. All of which – it has to be said – has left us feeling pretty…

…bowled over.

Back with more info soon.

NOTE: Batting Stars is set to open at the new 100 Bishopsgate development near Liverpool Street. When is still yet to be announced. Stay tuned for more info.
