Bite Me.
It’s the kind of restaurant which requires you to invite your friends with some very careful wording.
But invite you shall: for this is the first pop up incarnation from mini burger purveyors, Bite Me Burger Co., ahead of opening a permanent joint next year.
Wisely, they’ve placed it in the very capable hands of Adam Rawson, a ridiculously talented man (and ex head chef at Pachamama) who’s been popping up with his burgers in residencies all over town, twice winning him – amongst innumerable other accolades – The London Slider Decider in the process.
Here he’s serving up his meat stacks of joy in either sharing boxes of 12, or a personal duo, trio, or quad of mini burgers, flavours of which include the Lambtastic, with mint and lamb patty topped with cumin, smoked yoghurt and stilton; the Duck Me, with duck, truffle mayo, smoked hoisin and Swiss cheese; and the Pluck Me, with buttermilk fried chicken, yuzu mayo and pickles – alongside, of course, the classic beef and cheeseburgers, and a Veg Me option where meat can be swapped out for a sweet slice of aubergine.
All of which can be accompanied by American-style shakes with flavours like peanut butter and oreo, old-school fries and a perfectly-crafted, traditional hot dog.
And if none of that appeals, well…
NOTE: This pop up has now closed, but they also have a branch in Camden.
