Corona SunSets Festival

We’ve been wondering where the sun’s been hiding recently…

And then it dawned on us.

It’s probably been gearing up for the Corona SunSets Festival, which is rolling back into town tomorrow for its second year in London. If you missed it last year, it’s essentially a huge, day-long knees-up decked out with music, beers, and general sun-themed shenanigans on a giant beach – and the good news is that there are still tickets up for grabs.

It’s all taking place on the sprawling Greenwich Peninsula, which they’ve spruced up with a light, casual dusting of 600 tonnes of sand, sun festival-inspired decor aplenty, and two grand, AV-enhanced music stages, on which you’ll find:

THE MUSIC

Packed back to back across the two stages, your ears will be treated to the dulcet beats of DJs and producers like Thomas Jack (the guy who actually coined the term Tropical House), Felix Jaehn, Vicetone, José Padilla and the Mambo Brothers, providing a mix of deep house and laid-back acoustic beach tunes as the sun sets over the City skyline behind. Which will all help to soundtrack your exploration of:

THE OTHER STUFF

Because you’ll also find a heft of beach-themed activities, including beach games, a traditional market village filled with festival gear and local craft stalls; a generous helping of street food traders and pop up bars serving chilled beers and Corona-inspired cocktails; silk-screening workshops, an all-dancing sun festival parade aaand a body art area, where you can get yourself kitted out with gold tattoos and body paint.

So essentially…

…they’ve got everything under the sun.

NOTE: Corona SunSets is taking place on Saturday 29th July from 2-11pm on Greenwich Peninsula. Tickets cost £40pp and are available right HERE.

ALSO NOTE: Visit Drinkaware for the facts. Please drink responsibly. This is an 18+ event. All festival attendees must bring a Valid ID to enter the festival.
