Swiping right has been anything but right for some time now.
So for one night only (Wednesday 14th August) we’re giving our thumbs a rest and hosting a wonderful Dating Party inside an equally wonderful bar, Jack Solomon’s Club in Soho. A dating party containing actual real-life singles whom you can talk to, flirt with and very possibly end up committing the rest of your life to… That kind of singles night.
It’s called “Crushing It” and, as mentioned, it’s all going down at the fantastic Jack Solomon’s Club. We basically want to get people with genuine shared interests (particularly nice restaurants) together inside a genuinely great bar, drinking genuinely great drinks, and listening to genuinely great music. So at a minimum it’s a genuinely fun night out. And if all goes really well? Then generations to come will be thanking you for their existence…
To ensure the social wheels turn smoothly, you’ll walk in and straight-away be handed a welcome cocktail specially created for the event by our lovely sponsor El Jimador. It’s called the Solomon’s Smile (El Jimador, Mango Puree, Lime Juice, Cranberry Juice, Vanilla), and it involves some honest-to-god really nice tequila who make a drink that’s a hundred times better than the stuff most people are used to.
The whole night will be also soundtracked by the superb DJ Babajide, who deftly commanded the decks at our JOIA rooftop party last year with his beautiful blend of soul, disco, & funk. Plus, as a guest you’ll be asked for a couple of personal trivia tidbits by us ahead of arrival to form the basis for a very gentle, not-cringe icebreaker.. which should make for a good excuse to say hello to anyone you like the look of.
And as a final bonus? All of our guests are being automatically entered into a competition to win a bottle of El Jimador tequila and dinner for two at one our absolute favourite (and very romantic) London restaurants, Bar Levan*.

NOTE: Crushing It is taking place on August 14th at Jack Solomon’s Club. Doors open at 6.30PM with a hard start at 7PM (no entry will be allowed post that point). Tickets cost £15pp and include a welcome cocktail. There are no more tickets for women. Men can get tickets HERE.
