Sir David Attenborough’s Jungle Boogie

Sir David Attenborough’s Jungle Boogie | Best Thing Ever?

And here, we see, a David Attenborough-themed dance party in its natural habitat…

It is truly, one of nature’s miracles.

That habitat is the Oval Space in London, where it’ll take place on March the 10th of this year. The event has already taken place in towns all across the country (in areas populated largely by students, one should add) and has been, ahem, wildly successful.

Each evening sees the venue decorated with faux foliage, vines, and other such jungly paraphernalia, as well as a life-size cardboard cut out of the great man himself. They’ll then project segments from both Planet Earth II & Blue Planet II onto the walls while the DJ spins disco, funk, soul and house music, all interspersed with Sir David’s voice.

Ticket are just a fiver, and a portion of the proceeds will go towards the World Land Trust; a rainforest conservation organisation that Sir David Attenborough is a patron of.

And, successful or not, you’re at least likely to witness one or two courtship rituals.

NOTE: David Attenborough’s Jungle Boogie takes place on March 10th at the Oval Space. Tickets are on sale now for £5 each, and are available right HERE.
