Field Day 2017

Ah, the great British summer.

A day best enjoyed with a drink in hand, grass underfoot, and some of the world’s finest music filtering through your eardrums.

And should you be so inclined, you can do exactly that at Field Day which returns to the expansive Victoria Park for its 11th festival, with a brand-new, frankly enormous indoor stage area, The Barn. The line up this year continues to showcase the best alt, electronic and dance talent. Expect performances Aphex Twin, Flying Lotus and Run The Jewels alongside the likes of Hot Chip’s Joe Goddard, Slowdive, Thee Oh Sees, Nicolas Jaar, Moderat and punk poet Dr John Cooper Clarke.

As well as the music stages, you’ll also find Field Days’s Village Mentality featuring endless wholesome old-fashioned fun, like eating contests, tugs of war, sack races, space hopper races, and just about any other kind of adorable race your heart could desire.

This year the food offering will be curated by Venn St. Market & Street Feast. And if that’s not enough, there’s also the London Brewers’ Market, with a crowd of local craft brewers coming together to ply their wares.

And remember, you should always, always drink a ware.

PLEASE NOTE: Field Day took  place on 3rd June 2017.
