Greenwich Comedy Festival

The Greenwich Comedy Festival | London’s Biggest Comedy Festival

Unlike FYRE Festival, this is the kind of festival that everyone laughs at in a good way.

This is the festival’s 16th year, but instead of learning to drive a moped and open as many bank accounts as it damn well pleases, it’s celebrating by putting together another line-up of big name comedy acts. Tickets are going fast, but currently there are still tickets for shows with the excellent Phil Wang, Shapparak Khorsandi, Kemah Bob, Ardal O’Hanlon, Jen Brister and dozens of other top acts.

Each of the eight shows (tickets for which cost £26.50) feature one or two major players, who then perform alongside some of the UK’s brightest up and coming talent, meaning that you’ll get the satisfying reward of inevitably discover some new faces, but at very low risk of boredom.

All of these laughs are going to be served up to ticket holders alongside a selection of bars (pushing a decidedly serious selection of drinks – from craft beers and French wine, to botanical gins and margaritas) and a veritable smorgasbord of street food options.

After all, laughter is the best medicine, but food is still the best food.
