You’re probably used to going to brunch and finding your avocado smashed and your eggs beaten up.
But this time, it’s personal.
Because Grey Goose are taking over the vaunted residency-led restaurant, Carousel, for a cocktail-infused, one-of-a-kind brunch that’ll be tailored entirely to your own tastes. And while it’s nearly sold out, we’re doing something a little personal for Nudge readers, too – by offering you two pairs of tickets.
You’ll walk into the lofty, sun-drenched space to find its convivial, sprawling tables laden with appetisers and canapés put together by food blogger and Chef Anna Barnett. Designed to represent the five flavour profiles (sweet, sour, salty, bitter and umami), each dish will be paired with a similarly-flavoured twist on the signature Grey Goose summer cocktail, Le Grand Fizz. And they’re going to be pretty excellent too, since they’re all designed by ex-Blind Pig mixologist, and current Head of Bars at The Ned, Dan Berger.
Having gone through the arduous task of sampling each individual canapé and discovering your own personal tastes, you’ll then sit down to the main event – where you’ll be able to personalise your main course at a tasting station with ingredients that complement each taste profile.
Of course, if you wanted to go one step further, the room itself will even feature a living wall of edible herbs and botanicals that you can use to garnish your food and cocktails and personalise it all even further.

The barkeeps here are doling out Bloody Marys on a rolling basis here. Mainly because they’re served up on table-side trolleys with garnishes and infusions to personalise the drink to your taste… But also because you’re probably going to be ordering a fair few of them.

Heddon Street Kitchen has an interactive wine tasting and pairing counter; a raw bar; an outdoor terrace for al fresco dining; a lounge area; a pizza oven; and a direct, Hells Kitchen-style view of the chefs at work. Oh, and now signature Grey Goose concoctions to boot.

Café Monico is one of those timeless institutions that does everything the good old way – namely, bottomless brunches accompanied by glasses of Maria Bianco, with lemon-infused Grey Goose, Martini Bianco, tomato, and fresh raspberries. Just like mamma used to make.
