Last Christmas, the twinkly, rooftop cinema at Baker Street’s Holmes Hotel completely sold out.
And it doesn’t take a super sleuth to figure out what they’re doing for Valentines.
Yes, the ultra-luxe cinema is back for a brief, five day run (ending on V-Day itself) on one of the finest roof terraces in Marylebone. You’ll still find all the cosy amenities that made it such a standout: fur-lined sofas within their own little private mini chalets, plus fancy food & drink, all exclusively lit by candles and festoon lighting. And there’s space for just eight each night.
This time around there are three different menu options depending on the film (although, to be clear, the cheapest of them is £55) but they all include Champagne, fancy popcorn, and blankets, with various choices of tasting menus and special Valentine’s dishes (oysters, lobster salad, ribeyes, etc) served up in the restaurant too. And as for the films? The amorous classics include Dirty Dancing, The Bodyguard, Pretty Woman, Ghost, La La Land, and Breakfast at Tiffany’s.
They’ll make you feel on top of the world.
NOTE: The Roof Terrace Cinema is popping up again from February 10th until the 14th. Tickets cost between £55-£110, and are available right HERE.
