Last winter, the twinkly, rooftop cinema at Baker Street’s Holmes Hotel completely sold out.
So it doesn’t take a super sleuth to figure out why they’re bringing it back this year.
Yes, the ultra-luxe cinema is back for a limited run throughout the colder months, set upon one of the finest roof terraces in Marylebone. Maning that yes, it’s heated. But beyond that you’ll still find all the cosy amenities that made it such a standout: fur-lined sofas within their own little private mini chalets, miniature Christmas trees, and a gourmet popcorn menu – all exclusively lit by candles and festoon lighting. Oh, and there’s space for just eight each night.
Tickets are £70 which might sound steep for a film… but that’s because before heading upstairs you’ll be treated to a winter tasting menu in the restaurant below. Dishes include smoked burrata, black ink cuttlefish croquettes and courgette spaghetti, and you can wash it all down with a glass of Perrier Jouet Grand Brut.
Then you’ll head up to the roof and take your seats at London’s most intimate cinema, where they’ll be screening romantic classics: A Star is Born, 10 Things I Hate About You, and Crazy, Stupid Love.
They’ll make you feel on top of the world.
NOTE: The Roof Terrace Cinema is popping up again from 17th – 19th February 2023. Tickets cost £70 for dinner, Champagne and the film, and are available right HERE.
