The Lost Lectures – Barn Again

The Lost Lectures | Barn Again

We tried to organize an omelette throwing festival once.

Boy, did we have egg on our faces.

Luckily, we’re not the ones putting together The Lost Lectures, which is essentially a festival of intellectual curiosity. They’re returning this month after a 2 1/2 year hiatus for a one-night-only special event called Barn Again; a provocative, stimulating series of talks in a barn somewhere in the centre of London. Yes, a barn. Of sorts. With hay bales. And a hoedown.

It’s all happening on April 27th at a secret location (as is the norm for Lost Lectures), were you’ll be treated to an mesmeric mix of world-class talks and performances enjoyed “from the comfort of your very own hay bale”.

The lineup includes talks from anatomical pathology technologist Cara Valentine (Aka. ‘The Chick and the Dead’); Magic Roundabout writer Paul Basset Davies; cryptocurreny journalist/consultant Rhian Lewis; cult sculptor Wilfred Wood; and professional wrestler Steve Valentino. To name but a few.

Given that this is an all-evening affair, they’ll also have food & drink on offer throughout. Annnnd they’ll end everything with a massive hoe-down led by London based floor-stompers Cut a Shine, who’ll be leading dances of strip the willow with banjoes & fiddles, all night long.

All of which sounds pretty amazing to us… we don’t want to lecture you though.

PLEASE NOTE: The Lost Lectures – Barn Again took place on April 27th.
