Moët Summer House | June 2019 (Partner Content)
The people at Moët & Chandon are popping the Champagne open.
And not just because they have something to celebrate.
But it is a happy coincidence.
You see, they’re reopening the Moët Summer House for one glorious weekend this June. If you didn’t get to go last year: it’s essentially a pop up private members club located in a stunning Georgian mansion somewhere between Buckingham Palace & Downing Street. It’s going to be filled with tastemakers from the worlds of fashion, film, food, and music to kick start the summer in dazzling style. And you are hereby invited to join.
Sign up for a complimentary membership, and you’ll get a chance to pop in and discover their immense line-up of events, tastings, performances, masterclasses, dinners, and live acts from some of the top-shelf talent in the creative world. Most are free of charge, but there are a few ticketed events each day. Here’s a mere smattering of what you can expect:
Sign up for a complimentary Friday membership, and you can have your portrait taken by famed fashion photographer Candice Lake; check out live musical performances from Sophie Faith and DJ Pips Taylor; get a three-course dinner with Gordon Ramsay-trained chef (and model) Isaac Carew; or check out a comedy set from the extremely sharp-witted TV regular Katherine Ryan.
Saturday features the likes of a casual Champagne-paired lunch and dinner with Jason Atherton; a Champagne cocktail masterclass; a food photography workshop; a poetry reading by the lauded James Massiah (from his book Optimism 101); and a screening of The Great Gatsby starring the same Champagne you’ll be drinking.
Those who get there on the last day of the weekend can look forward to a live podcast recording of UNSUBSCRIBE; a screening of the men’s final at Roland Garros; a pub quiz hosted by witty bon vivant Jack Guinness; a talk on the Art of Entertaining (with TV Presenter Angela Scanlon, event designer Fiona Leahy and chef annnd nutrition expert Jasmine Hemsley); and finally a good ol’ Sunday roast with Jason Atherton.
In summary, for one weekend it’s going to be the place to be…
.. and all you need to do to be there is apply, or just book in to your preferred event.
NOTE: Moët Summer House is taking place from 7th-9th June, and there is no cost for membership. Membership entitles you access to the club for an entire day of your choosing, plus access to all of the complimentary events taking place that day. You can find out more & apply for membership HERE.
