Lavish Tasting Menus & A Party On A Candlelit Dancefloor

PAIRED at Carousel launched at the start of this year – in fact, it helped launch the year itself, opening over New Year’s Eve. In short the idea is that it’s a unique combination of world-class DJs & lavish tasting menus, and as you might expect, it was roaring success – and since then everyone’s been patiently awaiting its return.

Well, now it’s coming back.

Or to put it another way, Carousel is getting re-PAIRED.

So just what’s involved in one of these evenings? Well, the idea is relatively simple – each night pairs up a highly talented chef and DJ across each of the venue’s two floor, with each combination being unique to that night and that night only. Thus no two menus, soundtracks, or events will be the same. Things stats at a respectable 7pm when 70 guests will take their seats for a multi-course tasting menu. Then, at around 10.30 a whopping 200 more guests join the party as the DJs up the tempo with back-to-back sets to see out the night in raucous style on a candlelit dace-floor.

The next events at poised for the end of April, and involves chef Youra Kim (of Copenhagen’s vaunted restaurant Propaganda) and DJ Tennis (he’s played Coachella, Glasto, Burning Man, etc.), as well as Yuji Tani (head chef at Tokyo’s HOUSE) and Elkka (an award-winning breakthrough DJ). The menus will feature both Yuji’s signature Japanese-French style and Youra’s Korean lilt, with dishes like shoi-koji marinated duck with burdock root; shrimp soupless udon; charcoal-grilled pork pluma galbi with tomato kimchi; and gochujang chocolate gelato.

You can book in for the whole dinner, or if you just fancy the dancing, you can join for the after-party on the candlelit dance floor until the wee hours.

You just need to get paired up with a ticket.
