Singeasy | Karaoke Where You’re Backed By A Live Band
Karaoke is great and all… but the backing tracks are usually pretty tinny.
Live bands can be amazing too… but they very rarely let you sing.
And brunch is always a good shout… but it almost never involves singing waiters.
And solving all of these problems in one stunning fell swoop? Is Singeasy.
You’ll find it housed within the raucous musical den that is The Piano Works West End (it’s like a venue-within-a-venue), where it serves as a kind of speakeasy with singing. Which, mathematically, makes it a ‘Singeasy’, you no doubt see. And while the rest of the space allows for people to request songs to be played by the live house band, at Singeasy you can sing along to them too.
Each night plays to a different theme, and the weekly lineup includes a musical theatre takeover on Mondays (with a guest West End star); a drag singing/comedy night on Tuesdays; a movie themed night on Wednesdays (things kick off with Grease); a classic Singeasy experience from Thursday-Saturday (going on until 3am); and a Singeasy Brunch on Saturday afternoon.
About that brunch: it involves bottomless, courage-inducing prosecco or Bloody Marys; eggs Benny/ Florentine/ Royale; smashed avo; fried chicken and waffles (or vegan fried chicken & pancakes); and more.
It’s worth shouting about.
NOTE: Singeasy is open now. You can find out more, and make a booking at their website right HERE.
