StreatFest | Flat Iron Square gets a charitable food festival
Action Against Hunger have found that the most effective way to raise both funds & awareness is to take action against your hunger.
And London’s best chefs have been only too happy to oblige, helping them raise funds to prevent child malnutrition & provide access to clean drinking water in dozens of countries across the globe.
Now, they’re taking things up a notch, by putting on an actual food festival. It’s called StreetFest, and it’s taking place over one night in Flat Iron Square, featuring some of the best kitchen talent in the city. There’ll be dozens of chefs there, and some of the talent expected includes:
There’ll be entertainment too, with DJs, live bands, and an auction from Tom Best (Christie’s youngest ever auctioneer) who’ll be gleefully selling off money-can’t-buy prizes. There’s even going to be a wheel of fortune from Taittinger Champagne – spin it to win a glass, bottle or even a magnum of the good stuff.
A standard ticket nets you any three dishes you like, plus a drink, some tasty snacks, and the chance to the various prizes on offer. And if you spring for the VIP ticket, you get six dishes and three drinks. And All funds raised will go directly to charity.
So both your stomach and your heart will be full.
NOTE: StreetFest takes place on 11th September at Flat Iron Square. Tickets cost £35 and include 3 dishes, a drink, and some bonus extras. You can snap them up HERE.
