Science has recently concluded that breakfast is no longer the most important meal of the day.
The scales were recently tripped by lunch.
Specifically, a sun-drenched, flower-laden and laughter-fuelled BBQ style lunch, with a tipple of gin on the side. One that’s in Soho Square – the heart of London’s heart – and which, as a part of it, gives you the chance to win your very own private party, hosting nine friends in a special VIP terrace area, where you’ll all be ceremoniously treated to live music, BBQ food, and a cocktail from a botanical gin bar.

See, this is all thanks to B&Q – Britain’s leading home improvement retailer, best known for its 300 stores across the country and, more generally, people in orange aprons – who want to ensure that those in London with small balconies and windowsill gardens still get their summer fix. And that those in Soho get out of their offices and into the sun.
So, open every day from 10am – 9:30pm in Soho Square (from Wednesday 26th – Saturday 29th April), they’re running a menagerie of workshops on how to transform small spaces into green, wildlife friendly sanctuaries, as well as putting on some complimentary food from Barbeskews Catering, and botanically inspired drinks from Portobello Road Gin.
Which means that you can simply pop down at any stage during their pop up residency, of course, OR – bringing us handily back to this competition – enter to win that very special VIP terrace party we touched on before.
