World Class | The Winter House
Since its launch in 2009, Diageo Reserve WORLD CLASS has been transforming fine drinking and cocktail culture around the world by supporting, educating and inspiring consumers and over 250,000 bartenders through its training and advocacy programme (and hosting a massive global bartending competition, to boot).
And now you can quite literally enjoy a little taste of what it’s all about by nabbing tickets to an exclusive – and extremely intimate – Christmas Cocktail Making Masterclass hosted by Diageo’s expert brand ambassadors in the Moroccan-themed basement of an abandoned church on Shaftesbury Avenue known as Winter House.
Attend this masterclass and you’ll learn from a World Class Brand Ambassador exactly how to create three festive cocktails that you can make for your friends and family over the Christmas period. The cocktails are all based around the traditional Christmas feast, and include the Tanqueray No. TEN Christmas Sour (made with gin, lemon juice, orange bitter, cinnamon sugar, and egg white, dressed up with an orange slice); the Nutty Bulleit Rye Eggnog (made with bourbon, milk, cream, egg, sugar syrup, Guinness, and sprinkled with chocolate shavings); and the Christmas Tea Collins (made with Ketel One Vodka, homemade tea syrup with breakfast tea & winter spices, lemon juice, soda, and garnished with orange and cloves).
You’ll be invited to choose whichever three cocktails you fancy out of five possible options; have the ingredients and step-by-step creation process explained to you in detail by one of the best in the business; and then be invited to make the cocktails yourself… before then, naturally, drinking them.
As the old saying goes,
